How we can help

Hearing Help UK is here to help from the moment you are diagnosed with hearing loss, or are experiencing some form of  hearing loss.  Maybe you are a recent hearing aid user or have used hearing aids for a long period of time. We can provide you with information, advice and guidance for all aspects of hearing loss that may lead to improving your life and the lives of your family, friends and carers.  If you or  a member of your family suffer with hearing loss and would like to talk to us about the help we can offer, please contact us.

What we do

  • We promote selfcare and reassurance
  • We provide environmental hearing assessments and equipment demonstrations
  • We hold popular and welcoming monthly social events to reduce social isolation
  • We support peer groups and encourage new groups to form
  • We work in partnership with a variety of organisations in health, social care and the voluntary sector

Outreach Events and Markets

Our outreach staff and volunteers bring our service to you!  We attend markets and other events throughout the County where we are available for a friendly chat.

Equipment

For those who live in Derbyshire some equipment is available free of charge through a simple assessment conducted by our professional staff members.

How to access the service

To access this service a referral can be made by self, family, carers, friend, Audiologist, GP’s, other professional organisations, voluntary community organisations.
